      Program Overview

      This degree program prepares students for ministry leadership—in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of courses in foundational core (i.e., English, psychology, math, science, etc.), Bible, theology, ministry, and ministry practicum. 

      The final 18 hours of the major core focuses on global, entrepreneurial, strategic, and innovative missional leadership skills that can be applied in a variety of missional contexts.

      What You'll Learn

      In addition to exploring topics such as the Bible, theology, church history, discipleship, team leadership, strategic ministry leadership, nonprofit financial management, and ethics, you will: (1) explore the spiritual, vocational, and ethical foundations that will equip you to be a healthy vocational ministry leader, (2) examine the beauty of human diversity and Christian responses to differences in the 21st century, and (3) apply the ideas you are learning in your courses to real-life ministry work in a local church through two required ministry practicum courses.
