Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership prepares students for ministry leadership — in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and other ministry contexts – through an interdisciplinary curriculum of courses in foundational core, Bible, theology, ministry, and ministry practicum. As the final part of your major core, you'll select an 18 hour track to further advance your knowledge in a specific area of ministry leadership: Biblical Studies, Christian Ministry, Family Ministries, Humanitarian Ministry, or Pastoral Care & Counseling.

What You'll Learn
In addition to exploring topics such as the Bible, theology, church history, discipleship, team leadership, strategic ministry leadership, nonprofit financial management, and ethics, you will: (1) explore the spiritual, vocational, and ethical foundations that will equip you to be a healthy vocational ministry leader, (2) examine the beauty of human diversity and Christian responses to differences in the 21st century, and (3) apply the ideas you are learning in your courses to real-life ministry work in a local church through two required ministry practicum courses.
