What You'll Learn
Students can choose a concentration in Teaching & Learning, STEM Education, Educational Technology or Self-Design a concentration that fits your professional needs. They will also earn microcredentials, such as Google Certified Educator Certification Levels 1 and 2.
Career Preparation
This degree is ideal for educators who are interested in advancing their skills in the art and science of teaching and learning – both instructionally and with technology for the classroom. It also provides students the opportunity to specialize in STEM Education and support those who choose to serve as a content area lead teacher, grade-level chair, department chair. It also allows you to rapidly advance on the pay scale since the degree can be completed in a year or less.
The Teacher Leader pathway includes preparation and coursework for educations who are not ready to commit to earning a degree in administration but want a degree that allows them to seamlessly transfer to an Education Specialist in administration.
The program also prepares students who are interested in advancing their career as a corporate trainer outside of K-12 education. Graduates are also qualified to serve as an Education dual credit, adjunct, or undergraduate college instructor working with preservice teachers perusing an associates or bachelor’s degree.
