      Program Overview

      The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration assists those new to healthcare and working professionals seeking academic or work advancement. You will earn application-based knowledge as well as an understanding of the history, current state and future of healthcare delivery. Choose from one of the three tracks for this degree: information systems, organizational leadership or healthcare specialty.

      Students will develop a firm understanding of healthcare information systems, business concepts, policies, finances, and leadership tools used within the healthcare industry. Students will also explore unique challenges in the healthcare industry and examine external factors impacting patient outcomes and the delivery of care.

      Career Preparation

      This program prepares students to be effective leaders in healthcare facilities that understand issues impacting healthcare delivery.

      ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants are required to:

      • Complete an application
      • Provide official transcripts showing evidence of graduation from an accredited high school or an acceptable score on the General Education Development (GED) exam.
      • Applicants must also submit transcripts from all post–secondary schools attended. Trine University will help you order official transcripts, covering the cost, if your school accepts 3rd party request.

      TRANSFER CREDITS: Up to 90 credits for a bachelor's degree and 45 credits for an associate dress.

      COST: The cost with the discount is $250 per credit hour, which has been reduced from $299 per credit hour. Trine University Online also offers more than 200 courses with no textbook fees.
