This article will help you understand Herzing University's transcript and transfer credit policies and processes.
How many credits can a student transfer?
For undergraduate programs, students may transfer up to 75% of the degree requirement total. General education credits don’t expire, meaning that classes you completed 5, 10, or even 15 years ago may still transfer into one of Herzing degree programs
How do I submit transcripts?
After you submit your application, you will need to submit official transcripts to Herzing University.
You can submit unofficial or official transcripts to Herzing University. While we recommend submitting official transcripts, you can use your unofficial transcripts to enroll in your first term.
Submit Unofficial Transcripts
Applicants can upload their unofficial transcripts to their application checklist in their Herzing Connect application.
Submit Official Transcripts
Please check your previous school(s) website for more information on ordering your official transcripts. Often, transcripts can be ordered from Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse. If these two options are unavailable, you may need to request that your previous school send transcripts via US postal mail.
Official transcripts can be sent to registrar@herzing.edu or mailed to:
275 W. Wisconsin Ave. Ste 210
Milwaukee, WI 53203.
What's an official transcript?
Transcripts are considered "OFFICIAL" when they are sent directly from the previous institution where the credit was earned and remain unopened.
What if I am unable to access official transcripts?
If official transcripts aren't received then the student is ineligible for transfer credit and will need to take the course(s).
If your previous school has closed, please contact the Department of Education for the state of the previous school you attended.
Does Herzing University do unofficial evaluations?
