The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree is a 120-credit undergraduate program which prepares you for a variety of careers in the field of healthcare. The online degree program provides students with fundamental knowledge and skills in wellness & health promotion, health communication, dynamics of public and community health, and much more.

The program is designed for degree completion (for students with an associate degree in a health-related field), students who hold a degree in another field, and students without a degree looking to begin a new rewarding career in healthcare.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences is designed for individuals who hold a health-related associate degree the opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree or individuals with transfer credit in other disciplines that want to advance in the health field or to continue to graduate studies.

This comprehensive program helps students develop careers in health & wellness and disease prevention within multiple health systems located within various communities. Students will understand how a variety of factors impact health (e.g. social, cultural, behavior & epidemiological principles). This program develops communication skills for health education & promotion, ethical decision making, and strategic leadership for improving health care quality.

Our health sciences bachelor’s degree program curriculum includes course topics covering wellness & health promotion, the state of U.S. healthcare systems, medical law & ethics, behavioral & cultural aspects of healthcare and much more.

Enrollment prerequisites for the Herzing University program include:
