The Associate of Science in Health and Human Services program prepares students to uniquely approach the objective of meeting human needs through an interdisciplinary knowledge base, focusing on prevention, intervention, theory, and maintenance in practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
This online program provides a foundational understanding of entry-level work tools and skills for students to focus on providing coordination of services case management, and advocacy, within public and private health and human services agencies and organizations. Upon completion of this degree, students are eligible to continue into the Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services.
Career Preparation
The online degree program provides students with fundamental knowledge and skills in human resource management, behavioral health in communities, social problems and policy, human development across the lifespan, and much more.
Admission Requirements
Enrollment prerequisites for the Herzing Universit program include:
- Hold a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Achieve the minimum score on one of several options for entrance testing, including the Wonderlic, ACT or SAT. The Wonderlic assessment is a short assessment provided by Herzing University at no cost to you.
