This article will help you understand Central Community College's transcript and transfer credit policies and processes.
How many credits can a student transfer?
Central Community College accepts up to 75% of credits toward your award. 15 credits have to be taken at CCC. If you would like to transfer in any previously earned credits, you will need to submit official transcripts from that institution.
How do I submit transcripts?
CCC prefers electronic transcript records - you can request electronic transcripts via Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, and/or directly from the academic institution.
If transcripts need to be sent via USPS, then you may submit your official transcripts by mail in a sealed, unopened envelope issued by your previous institutions or by having your previous institution submit their official transcripts to CCC directly from the issuing institution at

What's an official transcript?
Transcripts are considered "OFFICIAL" when they are sent directly from the previous institution where the credit was earned and remain unopened.
What should I do if I cannot request a transcript from a previously attended school?
Please reach out to Central Community College if you are having issues obtaining your official transcript and would like these previously earned credits to be considered for evaluation.
