Program Overview
Quality technicians use a variety of scientific, mathematical and statistical processes to guarantee the quality of the products their firms manufacture. As a quality technician you’ll apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in support of engineers and other professionals responsible for maintaining consistent manufacturing and construction standards.

CCC's Quality Technology program was developed specifically to meet the growing demand for quality technicians in industry. The technical and math skills required in the program meet the standards of the American Society of Quality Control on its certified quality technician test.

Lean Six Sigma | 15 credit hours | Lean Six Sigma is a combination of two popular methodologies used in business and industry today–Lean which focuses on eliminating waste, and Six Sigma which focuses on reducing variation. The program is designed for students pursuing careers in quality improvement for both service and manufacturing environments. |
Quality Auditor | 15 credit hours | The certificate provides students the skills needed to understand the standards and principles of auditing and the auditing techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting to determine a quality system’s adequacy. |
Quality Calibration | 15 credit hours | The certificate provides students the skills needed in maintaining an inspection metrology lab. |
Quality Inspection | 12 credit hours | Students will learn the basic statistical tools used in quality control and tools used to make measurements, and learn math sills required in career/technical fields. Students will also prepare for the American Society of Quality’s Certified Quality Auditor exam. |
