      Program Overview

      Business Administration is Central Community College's most popular major - for good reason. It offers a broad view of business operations, giving you a foundation of knowledge you can put to work in many different career paths. And that’s a good thing, considering the U.S. Department of Labor says the average person changes jobs 11 times in his or her lifetime.

      Credits to Complete 62-65 credit hours Transfer Credits CCC accepts up to 75% of credits toward your award.

      What You'll Learn

      Students will specialize in one of two areas: Business Administration or Accounting. Students can develop additional expertise by completing elective courses in the areas of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Media Arts, Nursing Home Administration, Business Technology, Quality Control, Logistics, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or Agriculture. You will gain the practical knowledge and critical thinking skills desired in today’s competitive business world.

      Career Preparation

      CCC's associate degree program prepares graduates for entry-level staff or management positions. CCC’s graduates obtain jobs in profit organizations such as retailers, banks, manufacturers and restaurants, and non-profit organizations such as hospitals, museums, and charities.

      ABOUT:  Central Community College is a multi-campus community college located in Nebraska accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). For more than 30  years, Central Community College has offered online courses. They currently offer three degrees with 22 program specialties and over 260 courses online through the Virtual Campus.

      ACCREDITATION: Accredited by the Higher Learning Comission (HLC)

      ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants are required to:

      • Complete an application
      • Optional: Provide official transcripts showing evidence of graduation from an accredited high school or an acceptable score on the General Education Development (GED) exam if you would like to utilize financial aid.
      • Optional: Applicants may also submit official transcripts from all post–secondary schools attended if you would like to transfer any previously earned credits.

      TRANSFER CREDITS: CCC accepts up to 75% of credits toward your award.

      COST: The cost is $160 per credit hour.
