      Program Overview

      Do you see a bachelor’s degree in your future? Starting your college career at Central Community College can help you work toward that goal for a fraction of the cost and all the benefits of being close to home. At CCC, you can take many of the freshman and sophomore courses found at four-year colleges and universities including social, physical and life sciences, music, art, writing, literature and much more. Best of all, CCC will pair you with one of our academic transfer specialists to help you navigate the transfer process and make sure you’re not taking credits that won’t transfer once you graduate from CCC.

      Credits to Complete 64 credit hours Transfer Credits CCC accepts up to 75% of credits toward your award.

      Career Preparation

      CCC graduates have transferred to both public and private four-year colleges across Nebraska and to more than 50 out-of-state colleges. On average, CCC graduates who transfer from CCC achieve higher overall GPAs than students who start at four-year schools.

      ABOUT:  Central Community College is a multi-campus community college located in Nebraska accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). For more than 30  years, Central Community College has offered online courses. They currently offer three degrees with 22 program specialties and over 260 courses online through the Virtual Campus.

      ACCREDITATION: Accredited by the Higher Learning Comission (HLC)

      ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants are required to:

      • Complete an application
      • Optional: Provide official transcripts showing evidence of graduation from an accredited high school or an acceptable score on the General Education Development (GED) exam if you would like to utilize financial aid.
      • Optional: Applicants may also submit official transcripts from all post–secondary schools attended if you would like to transfer any previously earned credits.

      TRANSFER CREDITS: CCC accepts up to 75% of credits toward your award.

      COST: The cost is $160 per credit hour.
