      The field of criminal justice has undergone dramatic change in the past few years resulting in the need for individuals who are prepared to face unique challenges and opportunities. The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice is built on the foundation of 21st-century policing principles to equip students with the knowledge and skills to meet these challenges.

      The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice was developed to include the following knowledge and skill areas: law and policy, communication, professionalism, decision-making, diversity, research and analytical methods, and technological literacy. CCG's award-winning online learning environment will introduce the foundations of criminal justice theory as it applies to real-world application and will expose students to the latest trends and technologies that will allow them to excel in the workplace.

      Career Preparation

      Students will be prepared for graduate study in criminology, criminal justice, forensics, public administration, law enforcement, legal studies, human and social sciences, and law, including positions in: local, state, and national law enforcement agencies, court probation, case management in juvenile and adult judicial processes, community-based alternative sentencing programs, youth diversion programs, pre-release and community reintegration services, drug treatment, victim advocacy, domestic violence services and corrections on county and state levels.

      ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: For undergrad programs, you will need to:

      • Complete the full application
      • Submit an official high school diploma or GED  - high school diploma or GED can be waived if you have earned 24 or more credits from an accredited college with a grade of "C" or better.  
      • Provide official transcripts of any colleges attended if you would like to be evaluated for transfer credit

      TRANSFER CREDITS: Up to 90 credits for a bachelor's degree and 45 credits for an associate dress.

      COST: The cost with the discount is $250 per credit hour, which has been reduced from $502 per credit hour. Plus, at Cambridge College, approximately 40% of courses eliminate the need for external books or materials.
