This article will help you understand Cambridge College's transcript and transfer credit policies and processes.
How many credits can a student transfer?
Students can transfer up to 90 hours for a bachelor's degree and 45 hours for an associate degree.
How do I submit transcripts?
After you submit your application, you will need to submit official college and high school transcripts to Cambridge College. If you have 24 credit hours with a "C" or higher, you do not need to submit your high school transcripts to Cambridge College.
Please check your previous school(s) website for more information on ordering your official transcripts. Often, transcripts can be ordered from Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse. Electronic transcripts can be sent to transcript@cambridgecollege.edu.
If these two options are unavailable, you may need to request that your previous school send transcripts via US postal mail. More information can be found on Cambridge College's site here.
What's an official transcript?
Transcripts are considered "OFFICIAL" when they are sent directly from the previous institution where the credit was earned and remain unopened.
What should I do if I cannot request a transcript from a previously attended school?
If you have a hold on your student account at a previously attended school that impedes your ability to request an official transcript, you must work with the school to clear the hold. If your previous school has closed, please contact the Department of Education for the state of the previous school you attended.
